A while back we suggested a trip to Chestertown might conjure up the Paris vibe . This time, we want to send you to the wine country. Not enough time to fly across the country to Napa Valley? No worries: did you know there are over 60 wineries right here in Maryland?? There are “wine trails” throughout the state offering self guided tours of the wineries in each region. Our region, of course, is the Chesapeake Wine Trail, and 2 of the twelve wineries on the trail are right here in Kent County.
Both Cassinelli Winery and Crow Farm and Vineyard are less than 20 minutes from the Brampton Inn and either one makes an excellent day trip for a wine tasting and tour. And for even more wine tasting fun, check out the terrific menu our friends at the Imperial Hotel are cooking up for you, paired with Maryland wines, for Maryland Wine Week:
