From pop-up alfresco dinners on the Renaissance Terrace to sunset cruises on the Chester River to Afternoon Tea on the veranda! We always ensure that extra touch for our guests from a concert pianist playing in the background to working with our partners to develop a signature Brampton cocktail to enjoy during the event!

In addition to scheduled events, Brampton offers the opportunity to rent the entire Inn and Estate for your own event! Whether you’re celebrating a holiday, anniversary, wedding, reunion, or birthday, milestones are meant to be shared with family and friends. Starring Easton-based Guest Chef Jordan Lloyd, from Hambleton House, with historic Brampton Inn, in Chestertown, Maryland, providing a visually spectacular backdrop – prepare to embark on a cinematic and gastronomic journey like never before!

Here’s where Lloyd, an award-winning chef and TV personality takes cinephiles, foodies and cinephile-foodies to the next satisfying level. Framing each evening around a big-screen story, Lloyd draws inspiration from each film to craft an unforgettable five-course dinner menu, with ingredients sourced from the lands and waters of the Chesapeake. Plus, there’s live entertainment.

Brampton Dining Under the Stars Dinner Series

Tailored to passionate food lovers, Dining Under the Stars offers a captivating lineup of six open-air dining experiences set amidst the historic charm of the 35-acre country estate of the Brampton Inn, in Chestertown, Maryland.

Guest Chef Kurt Peter from Chesapeake Chef Service will craft an indulgent multi-course feast that spotlights the “cream” of the Chesapeake’s crop, including farmers, artisanal producers and winemakers. Born and raised on the Eastern Shore, Chef Peter has perfected the art of cauldron cooking over an open flame.

No two events are alike; each inspired by a theme at every level – from cuisine, tablescape, to live music, to wines and cocktails, you can always expect an elevated farm-to-table experience, with extraordinary presentations, while staying true to the essence of Chesapeake Bay cuisine.

Each evening starts in the garden, with a refreshing welcome cocktail and delightful appetizers to tantalize the taste buds. The night’s highlight arrives with a multi-course family-style dinner served beneath the stars on the Renaissance Garden terrace.

Brampton’s Ship-To-Shore Experience with Chester River Packet Company

Get ready for a Brampton Inn-style ship-to-shore experience on the Chester River aboard the classic Chester River Packet!

The Brampton Inn invites you to catch the sunset aboard the Chester River Packet, a 1920’s-style, touring yacht. This immersive experience allows guests to mingle and unwind on a serene two-hour cruise enjoying a gourmet charcuterie spread and cash bar, while taking in the beautiful Chester River waterfront and a breath-taking sunset. The evening is complete with a local musician, performing a medley of music that blends with sounds of the night falling on the river. Continue your relaxing evening back at the Inn, enjoying a bottle of complimentary wine around the fire pit and then retire to your romantic room or cottage.
