Starring Easton-based Guest Chef Jordan Lloyd, from Hambleton House, with historic Brampton Inn, in Chestertown, Maryland, providing a visually spectacular backdrop – prepare to embark on a cinematic and gastronomic journey like never before!

Here’s where Lloyd, an award-winning chef and TV personality takes cinephiles, foodies and cinephile-foodies to the next satisfying level. Framing each evening around a big-screen story, Lloyd draws inspiration from each film to craft an unforgettable five-course dinner menu, with ingredients sourced from the lands and waters of the Chesapeake. Plus, there’s live entertainment.

Our lineup for the season includes:

• May 23 – “The Fabulous Gourmet Club” debuts with a nod to The Freshman – MENU
  
• June 20 – Say “Aloha” to an evening inspired by ‘Ohana
• July 13 – Rick’s Café, the fictional gin-joint in the movie Casablanca
• August 17 – A Parisian nightclub inspired by the movie, Moulin Rouge
• September 12 – A night at the Taverna, inspired by Mama Mia
• October 10 – Fright and fun in spades, drawing inspiration from the book and move, Sleepy Hollow

Embrace the themes of each dinner by dressing up and being ready to feel transported to a magical location by food, wine, music and ambiance. Let the film inspire you!

The events are scheduled for 5:30 – 8:30pm. Prices depend on dinner theme, menu, and typically range from $175 – $225 per person, excluding taxes, beverages and gratuity. In May, add the wine pairing for $55 per person. If you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind epicurean adventure, Brampton is serving up CHESAPEAKE FRESH, a bucket-list destination for ardent foodies. Take a private field trip with fresh food fanatic Chef Lloyd and connect with the Chesapeake’s vibrant agriculture and aquaculture. Embark on a private tour, stopping frequently at some of the most sought-after locations to meet the leading purveyors in the region’s sustainable agriculture scene and procure your favorite ingredients. Return to Brampton, to hone your own skills in the kitchen in a chef-led interactive cooking class preparing the Chesapeake Bay’s bounty. The journey culminates with an intimate dinner paired with carefully selected vintages direct from the cellars of the inn. Savor a tailored menu prepared by Chef Lloyd that showcases that back-to-land reverence with Chesapeake farm fresh ingredients – with some vegetables and herbs harvested just moments beforehand in the Brampton’s own kitchen garden. Dine in the privacy of your cottage, surrounded by lush gardens and woods.

If Chef Lloyd looks familiar, he’s been on our televisions having been thrust into the spotlight winning an episode on Food Network’s “Supermarket Stakeout.”  His creative Chesapeake cuisine has been lauded as well as his commitment to organic, farm-to-table, seasonal ingredients.

Before launching Hambleton House, Lloyd delighted palates in Washington, D.C., at Michael Mina’s exclusive Bourbon Steak in the Four Seasons Hotel in Georgetown, where he served as Service Captain. His impressive culinary background includes such prestigious addresses as Citronelle in Washington, D.C.; Per Se in New York City; Auberge De Soleil Resort in Palmetto Bluff, South Carolina; Ritz Carlton in Atlanta, Georgia; and La Goulue in the Shoppes at Bal Harbour in Miami, Florida.

This experience is available April through November, based on availability, with 14 days advance notice, for $1,200 per couple plus lodging and tax and requires a minimum two-night Cottage booking.
