Come on down for the Taste of the Town!

Technically, it’s the taste of the Town and County, but that doesn’t make for a snappy headline or a catchy title, does it??

Yes, it’s time for the biggest foodie event of the year, and in 2017 it has reached a milestone: the 10th annual Taste of the Town.

Sunday May 7, from noon to 3, Fountain Park is the place to be. Restaurants from Chestertown and all over Kent County serve sample size portions of their signature offerings, all under a big tent in Fountain Park. New this year, the Maryland Wineries Association will be there to pair local wines with the food options. Pretty fancy!!

All proceeds go to a noble cause: the Samaritan Group of Kent County
If you are in or anywhere near Kent County this weekend, this is a MUST. The event is organized by the Downtown Chestertown Association, which does a great job promoting businesses and services in town. We think the DCA has captured perfectly what it’s like here in Chestertown with this line:

“Rooted in history, and adapted to contemporary life, historic Chestertown captures small town living in a way that will capture your heart.”

It’s the perfect excuse for a weekend getaway! Join us for this special event at our cozy Maryland bed and breakfast – hope to see you soon!
