Very often I hear myself saying to people that the springtime is the most beautiful time at our Maryland bed and breakfast. I usually quickly add that every season has its own specific beauty, but nothing really compares with the spring flowers. I even blogged about it here: “May Flowers”.
I stand corrected as late summer is also stunning at the Brampton Inn:
These photos were all taken late in the day, with little to no sun, and everything is still looking vibrant and bright! Give it up for late August in Chestertown, MD!!
Our Brampton Inn Garden is not the only beautiful blooms on the eastern shore, but there is also Adkins Arboretum, which is one of our favorite destinations on a thirty-minute walk. Another must-see garden that is definitely worth the time but is a bit father away is Kennet Square, PA’s Longwood Gardens. We have plenty of info about all these gorgeous gardens for you to visit.
