Dog Friendly Information
A Comfortable Alternative to Pet-friendly Hotels on Maryland’s Eastern Shore
It can be challenging to find pet-friendly accommodations when vacationing to Maryland’s Eastern Shore. That’s why at Brampton Inn we welcome our guests to bring up to two dogs with them during their stay in The Apartment, or one small dog in Russell’s Cottage. These spacious cottages a comfortable alternative to staying in a traditional pet-friendly hotel on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. Please note there is a dog fee of $20 per day/per dog. We do not allow cats, birds, or any pet that is not a dog.
If you plan on leaving your dog at the inn while you visit our area please bring his or her crate (or crates). Your pup(s) can’t be “home alone” un-crated.
Brampton Inn is located 1 1/2 miles from the center of town on 20 acres and is an ideal place to take your dog for a walk. There are paths, woods, fields and even a pond to keep your dog content. If your dog is well trained and listens to your commands, you could bring a Frisbee or ball to play fetch.
During the warmer months, there are several restaurants in Chestertown that offer “al fresco” dining where you can take your dog with you. Please bring a crate if you prefer to leave your dog unattended.
Homemade dog biscuits, freshly prepared by our pastry chef will be waiting for visiting dogs! We provide you with a water bowl, towels and dog blankets to cover the love seats in case “Honey” wants to be close to you. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed in the Manor House and for that reason we will be happy to deliver breakfast to you in the morning. It’s an extra perk.
