The Historical Society Sponsors Chestertown House Tour

This coming Saturday, October 6th, there will be a lot of extra foot traffic downtown: The Historical Society of Kent County’s Chestertown House Tour brings scores of people to our little town to tour some of the most spectacular historic houses around. Even our very own Brampton Inn, a Chestertown bed and breakfast, has been a part of the historic tour in year’s past!

The tour is held from 1pm-5pm, and you can order a box lunch ahead of time and enjoy it at Emmanuel Church Hall. The theme this year is the “The New Republic and the War of 1812” as many of the properties existed during this time in history.

If you are visiting this weekend, be sure to make your dinner reservations a bit in advance.

See you on the brick-lined sidewalks!
