Set Sail Aboard the Schooner Sultana

Ever wanted to set sail aboard a Colonial-style ship? Thanks to the Sultana Education Foundation, you can! Just one mile away from campus, you’ll find the beautiful replica of the original 1768 schooner that once patrolled the Eastern Seaboard. Public sails aboard this incredible vessel cost $30 per adults and $15 per child (under age 12). There’s no better way to experience the Eastern Shore of Maryland’s maritime culture! The Sultana also hosts ecology and other special sails throughout the year.

Indulge at the Chester River Wine and Cheese Co.

Walking around campus can work up a sizeable appetite. If you find yourself in that situation, head to Chester River Wine and Cheese Co.! At this boutique-style market, you can indulge in samples of fine cut-to-order cheeses, meats, and more. After you’ve found your favorite flavors, order a gourmet sandwich and a glass of local wine.
