Even with half of October gone, there are still a gazillion things going on in and around Chestertown, MD and Kent County. It is fall festival season, after all. Well, maybe a gazillion is over-stating it just a bit. But you can be sure there is always something going on each weekend from now until the end of the year.
Just on this weekend alone, you can choose to paddle the Sassafrass River under a full moon, check out the hot rods on Cruise Night in Rock Hall, or take in the Jazz of Beethoven.
And what are we doing to add to this merriment, you may be asking? Well, it just so happens that we have decided to start our fireplace season a tad early (even though it may be a little warm this weekend), so you can enjoy a snuggle in front of a fire that lights with just one match!
And that’s not all! This weekend we switch from micro brews to wine and cheese at tea time. Each Friday, Saturday and Sunday, in addition to the sweet and savory treats we offer each afternoon from 4pm to 5pm, you can enjoy a glass of wine and some cheese and fruit. They might be local wines, or one of our favorites from over the years.
