One of the many nice things about living in this area is that it’s close to so many other places! That may sound like a back-handed compliment, but it really isn’t meant that way…We are only 1 1/2 hours from both Baltimore and Philadelphia, 2 from Washington, DC and a little over 3 from New York. Not to mention Annapolis, Easton, the Brandywine valley, Bucks County and more, all an easy drive for a fun day trip.
This week, the big draw is the Philadelphia International Flower Show. Always during the first week of March, it’s like a tonic against the last few weeks of winter: the cold, windy, rainy days are almost over and at the Flower Show, everything is always in bloom!! Just walking into the convention center, the fragrance of all the mingling flowers can hit you like a brick wall… but in a good way!
If you’ve never attended before, why not check it out?
