Even though the weather has turned cool and comfortable, our kitchen is still piping hot because of all the jam-making that’s been going on! The last of the peaches and then the plums. Now the figs on our own two fig trees are ripening, and if we can keep from eating them all, we’ll even get a few jars of delicious fig jam out of them!
It’s time consuming and messy, but boy do our guests love that home-made jam!
We kind of like it, too.
