It’s a party
The holidays have swept by once again and now all we have to do is take down the decorations and the tree. It always seems to take much longer to do this than it does to put them up. (The gingerbread people on the tree have been discreetly shedding their sugar-icing clothing so we really must hurry!)
Just before Christmas we were happy to hold a 90th birthday cocktail party for a local lady. In fact, she celebrated her 80th here as well ten years ago so we must be doing something right! Carole made a beautiful tiered cake and we served lots of terrific hors d’ouevres.
