Although we may have been just a tiny bit pre-occupied with a certain daughter’s (Sophie’s!) wedding this past August. . .
. . . we did still enjoy hosting the several small weddings and elopements that took place this summer. Now we’re excited to tell you about one of our new Maryland wedding packages we have to offer.
Starting this fall, we are offering the choice of a sit-down brunch reception in addition to the standard hors d’oeuvre and champagne reception. Most couples who are inviting a group of people want to be able to offer a meal to their guests. While our hors d’oeuvre selection includes several quite hearty options, many folks still opt to add on dinner at a local restaurant after the festivities here at the inn. We even deliver the wedding cake to the restaurant! This stretches out the party a bit and makes for a full afternoon or evening.
It is difficult for us to offer dinner to wedding parties while there are other guests at the inn, so heading off to a restaurant in town is the only option for a sit-down meal. Until now.
How about BRUNCH? Isn’t it everyone’s favorite meal? Something sweet and something savory, plus mimosas. And a wedding cake. How can you go wrong?

We love the Brunch Wedding option and think it will really fit the bill for a lot of folks. If your guests need lodging, consider a whole house rental: all 7 rooms in the house for your guests (you’ll be in one of the cottages); it couldn’t be any more convenient.
