Do you have an inner performer just dying to get out, but you’re a little shy? Have you always wanted to belt out a song just for the sheer joy of singing, but were afraid you’d disturb the neighbors? Well, stay at our bed and breakfast in Chestertown, MD this weekend and you won’t have to do it alone!
The Chester River Chorale will hold its annual community “Holiday Sing-In” at the Garfield Center for the Performing Arts, just minutes from our bed and breakfast in Chestertown, MD, this Thursday, December 19, to benefit the Kent County Food Pantry. Each year just before Christmas, the Chorale invites the public to sing along to Handel’s Messiah (you probably know most of the words, but they will be provided to you just in case!) There are a few professional soloists, and a string quartet to back you up, but the audience is the star at this beloved annual event.

Not ready to jump onto the stage just yet? Here’s another option for you: Also at the Garfield Center, on Friday, December 20, “Jazz Up the Holidays” is a performance by local musicians and vocalists with international acclaim.
Just another example of the rich cultural life available here when you stay at our bed and breakfast in Chestertown, MD.
