We are lucky to have an abundance of options for shopping in Chestertown so close to our Chestertown inn. Lots of different types of stores, all great. If pressed to name a favorite, though, the answer is easy: Twigs and Teacups
This “Gifts and More”-shop has been the go-to place (for 26 years!) when a gift is needed for anyone from 1 to 100, or even better, for yourself. 🙂
Their card selection is phenomenal; some of the more artistic ones are suitable for framing – just beautiful! The coolest books, jewelry, toys, clothes, socks, scarves, bags, soaps, cookbooks, kitchen thingies, pillows, and on and on and on. Items are added seasonally as well: everything you need for each holiday can be found at “Twigs”. From ornaments to stocking-stuffers, holiday shopping is simply not done until a visit to this Chestertown institution. 🙂 After all, who doesn’t need a pair of these:
I mean seriously: ZEBRA salt and pepper shakers are one thing… but these are WIND UP TOYS as well. A two-fer, and eating in has never been more fun!!
Did I mention this is the place to find truly unique gifts? If you can’t find it at Twigs and Teacups, chances are you don’t need it.
